# Create a subscription

> Manually create a subscription for a customer in the Admin Panel.

You can create a subscription without a storefront checkout from the **Subscriptions** list.

1. Go to **Subscriptions**.
2. Click **Create subscription**.
3. Complete the steps: **Customer** → **Billing & payment** → **Products** → **Address** → **Shipping**.
4. Confirm to create the subscription.

You must select a payment method when the shop has payment methods available. Parcel-locker / pickup-point shipping can be selected on the shipping step when your store supports it.

After creation, manage the subscription like any other — including [bulk actions](/docs/bulk-actions) and Customer Portal access.
