Using global settings

The Setting tab lets you change a range of global settings to further customize your customers’ subscription experience.

Out of stock items

This section lets you manage what should happen when there is an out-of-stock item in the subscription. It can either be suspended until all items are back in stock, or it can renew normally without interruption.

This section lets you choose whether the products in existing subscription should be affected by price changes of you inventory.

SMS notifications

SMS notifications is a PRO feature enabled on request. Once enabled, it allows you to customize the notification for upcoming subscription renewal with custom sender and text fields. You can also use smart shortcodes to show the number of days to subscription renewal and add a login link, that allows your subscribers to easily manage their subscription right from their phones.

Email Templates

Once your customers begin their subscription journey with you, Juo will start automatically sending them email notifications at key steps of their journey.

This section allows you to turn on and off individual notifications as well as adjust the content of the messages being sent. Alternatively to automatic email notifications in Juo, you can also integrate Juo with Klaviyo and set up your subscription notification flow there.

Subscription intent

Subscription intent detection is a PRO feature enabled on request that lets you find patterns in returning customers’ buying behaviors to identify potential subscribers.

Once enabled, it scans your order base for customers who have purchased the same product variant at least twice and automatically tags these customers with a “subscription_intent” tag.

Based on the tag, you can then create customer segments and send targeted messaging to just these potential subscribers — encouraging them to subscribe.

Cancellation flow

This section lets you set up a cancellation flow, including the message and cancellation reasons suggested to your subscribers. You can also offer an extra discount to your customers who want to cancel their subscription. The discount can be applied to a selected number of upcoming renewals, or permanently.

Customer Portal

The Customer Portal will automatically adjust to your theme settings. This section lets you further adjust colors and button shapes to your liking.

Management options

In this section, you can choose which options are available to your subscribers in the customer portal. If they’re unchecked, it means the subscribers will need to contact your support if they want to make changes.

Here, you can easily integrate Juo with other apps in your stack, using your Private API Key.

Manage billing plan

After choosing the pricing plan upon the first Juo installation, you can overview the active plan, its price, and its features in the Manage billing plan tab. You can also upgrade or downgrade the plan anytime, according to your current needs.
